We love spots that are local treasures. Often their clientele comes only from the surrounding streets and people feel it’s not worth the car trip, just to enjoy a visit.

Replete doesn’t suffer from this problem. While it has plenty of loyal and passionate followers around Hawthorn, there’s also lots of admirers from well beyond the City of Boroondara.

A winner of Melbourne’s Best Breakfast Restaurant, Replete is a combination cafe and providore, supplying the Eastern suburbs with a great cafe location while also offering yummy treats for sale and impressive catering for corporate or private homes.

Replete is busy most of the time (which of the good cafes isn’t?) yet the atmosphere is warm, welcoming and almost homely with small tables packed tightly together and the buzz of friends catching up.

Be prepared for a short wait for a table sometimes but the wait is well worthwhile.

The food is good with fantastic breakfast and lunch options and daily specials. There’s a huge list of classic egg breakfast options (Florentine, Benedict, Big Breakfast and more), hotcakes and corn fritters or for lunch you could indulge in a panini, a pide, risotts, pasta, fish of the day, crunchy salads, lasagne, tarts and much more displayed beautifully at the front counter.

Don’t forget to leave room for a sweet treat and good cup of coffee.
